Coquinarius
Tucked behind the Duomo since 1999, Coquinarius is a bistro and enoteca pairing Tuscan recipes with natural and traditional wines, best known for its cheese and pear ravioli.
On a narrow lane a few steps from Piazza del Duomo, Coquinarius has worked as bistro, restaurant and wine shop since 1999, with its bottles resting in the cellars of a fourteenth-century palazzo. The kitchen draws on recipes from Chianti, the Casentino, the Maremma and the coast, and the dish nearly everyone orders is the cheese and pear raviolino with Parmigiano cream. Burrata ravioli with pistachio pesto and pici with Chianina ragu are close behind. The wine list moves constantly between natural, traditional and rare labels, by the glass or bottle, and any bottle can be bought to take away.
