Dalla Lola
A playful Santo Spirito trattoria with no fixed menu, where Tuscan cucina povera meets global flavors on a handwritten board that changes daily, backed by natural and organic Italian wines.
Dalla Lola wants you to know Florence is not just about the steak. The kitchen shops local markets every day and rewrites its handwritten board accordingly, so no two menus match, blending cucina povera with ingredients and techniques from elsewhere. Recent boards have run from fried tortellini and chicken livers with onions to spaghetti with butter and anchovies, miso gnocchi and a vegetable and chickpea curry. The wine list rotates too, focused on natural and organic Italian bottles. Dinner is booked only through the website; lunch tables are claimed in person between 11am and noon.
