Trattoria 13 Gobbi
A cluttered, much-loved trattoria on Via del Porcellana since 1997, known for rigatoni finished in a tureen and charcoal-grilled bistecca amid market-found furniture and walls of old photos.
13 Gobbi has held its corner of Via del Porcellana since 1997, and the name, the thirteen hunchbacks, is part of the charm. Founder Enrico Verrecchia and his partners filled the rooms with furniture and objects hunted at local markets, many from the 1940s to the 1960s, so every wall is crowded with photos and curios. Two dishes define the place: the creamy Rigatoni nella Zuppiera, brought to the table in a glass tureen, and the Bistecca alla Fiorentina cooked over charcoal. Behind them sit ossobuco with mashed potatoes, tagliolini with truffle and pappardelle with wild boar ragù.
