An Oltrarno osteria on tiny Piazza della Passera that treats tripe and lampredotto as restaurant food, from fried lampredotto meatballs and warm lampredotto sushi to ravioli in sweet onion sauce.
Il Magazzino takes Florence's street food staple indoors, one of the few osterie in the city serving lampredotto at the table. The room is rustic, with wooden tables, old photographs and neighborhood flags, and a few outdoor tables appear on Piazza della Passera in spring and summer. Start with polpette di lampredotto or the tempura-fried lampredotto sushi, then go for ravioli filled with lampredotto in onion sauce or a classic trippa alla fiorentina. Non-offal eaters have pappardelle with Tuscan ragu and pici with white veal ragu. Book ahead for the terrace.
