Loggia Roof Bar
A Renaissance loggia on the top floor of Hotel Palazzo Guadagni, pouring Florentine-minded signature cocktails over Piazza Santo Spirito, red-tiled roofs and the hills beyond, from lunch straight through sunset aperitivo.
Palazzo Guadagni was built in 1505 by Simone del Pollaiolo, and its open loggia remains one of the landmarks of the Oltrarno. Today that loggia is the hotel's roof bar, open daily from midday, with wicker chairs, terracotta tones and a clear view over Santo Spirito toward the hills. The cocktail list leans local: the Florentini is a gin Martini finished with Vin Santo, the Chiantishire floats Chianti Classico over a bourbon sour, and Oude Florence uses Boccaccio whisky aged in Negroni barrels. Lunch runs to burrata, vitello tonnato made with pork loin and a club sandwich, and the hotel recommends booking ahead.
