Gucci Osteria da Massimo Bottura
Gucci's restaurant on Piazza della Signoria, created with Massimo Bottura, where head chef Takahiko Kondo serves witty reinventions of Italian classics, from the famous tortellini to a Tuscan tasting journey.
Gucci Osteria opened in 2018 on Piazza della Signoria, inside the Gucci building that also houses the brand's museum, as a collaboration with Massimo Bottura. Head chef Takahiko Kondo spent seventeen years at Osteria Francescana in Modena before leading this kitchen, and the restaurant holds one MICHELIN star. His cooking blends Tuscan references with quiet Japanese accents and a lot of humor, from the Journey to Tuscany tasting menu to à la carte plates like Rossini, thanks. Bottura's tortellini in Parmigiano Reggiano cream remain the signature. It serves lunch and dinner, closing Mondays and Tuesdays from November to March.
