Borgo San Jacopo
Hotel Lungarno's one-star dining room hangs over the Arno facing Ponte Vecchio, where Claudio Mengoni cooks precise, ingredient-led Italian tasting menus backed by a cellar of more than 900 labels.
Borgo San Jacopo sits directly on the Arno inside Hotel Lungarno in Oltrarno, with interiors that nod to 1950s Italian style and a view of Ponte Vecchio few dining rooms in Florence can match. Executive chef Claudio Mengoni holds one MICHELIN star here and offers three tasting menus, one seasonal, one of his signature dishes and one vegetarian, alongside an à la carte. Head sommelier Salvatore Biscotti curates more than 900 Italian and international labels. The two balcony tables are the prize, so request one when you book through SevenRooms. Dinner only, Wednesday through Sunday.
