Ditta Artigianale
The original Ditta Artigianale on Via dei Neri, where Francesco Sanapo and Patrick Hoffer brought house-roasted specialty coffee to Florence in 2013, still pours it across a low counter.
Via dei Neri is where Ditta Artigianale began: the first cafe of a roastery founded in 2013 by barista champion Francesco Sanapo and Patrick Hoffer, and the seed of a group that now runs several Florence cafes. The counter was built deliberately low so you can watch your coffee being made, and the beans are roasted in house from micro lots the team sources directly. Expect espresso and milk drinks pulled with real precision, a food menu that runs from Italian pastry to brunch plates, and a serious gin selection, since the house also runs as a gin bar. It sits a short walk from Santa Croce.
