Bottega del Mulino is Fattoria Lavacchio's enoteca and farm shop, set opposite the estate's windmill on the Montefiesole hills in Chianti Rufina. It works through the day: coffee and artisan pastries in the morning, then the estate's organic wines poured alongside boards of local salumi and cheese and the house schiacciate, the kind of aperitivo you take outside among the vines. Shelves carry the Lavacchio range, from Chianti Rufina to a Pet-Nat and a farm vermouth, plus the estate's olive oil. For a proper sit-down meal, the same estate runs the Cucina di Casabella restaurant a few doors along the road.
