L'Angolino
A 17-square-meter cocktail bar on Via delle Caldaie, around the corner from Santo Spirito, where inventive house drinks, natural wine and a polar bear mascot draw a local crowd.
L'Angolino is a 17-square-meter bar on Via delle Caldaie, a short walk from Piazza Santo Spirito, run by Sergio Borghi with partner Dusan Bozic. What began as a simple neighborhood bar now turns out a playful house list: the Negroni del Vassoio built from bottles on the back bar, La Coppa del Nonno with vodka, Vov and almond water, and the Linea Verde with basil and a fior di latte foam. An Aperitivo Povero list keeps early evening drinks easy on the wallet, and natural wine and snacks round it out. Guest shifts and DJ nights fill the calendar.
Best for: Creative cocktails in a tiny Oltrarno bar
