Sadelle's New York
Major Food Group's SoHo original turns the city's bagel-and-lox tradition into full-blown theater, complete with hot-bagel chants and towers of smoked fish.
Since opening in 2015, Sadelle's has built its reputation around a glass-walled bagel bakery at the center of the room, where staff bake in shifts and shout the batches out on long wooden peels. The menu leans into New York deli classics — sliced-to-order salmon and sturgeon, chopped salads, triple-decker sandwiches — dressed up with Major Food Group polish, alongside specialties like the French toast and a cheeseburger. It's loud, bright, and built for lingering over a long weekend meal rather than a quick coffee stop.
Best for: Weekend brunch with a crowd, celebratory breakfasts, out-of-town guests wanting a New York classic
