Maison Premiere
A marble-topped ode to the golden age of absinthe and bivalves, where Bedford Avenue slips into New Orleans by way of Belle Époque Paris.
The raw bar runs deep with a rotating roster of East and West Coast oysters, shucked to order and best paired with something green and anise-laced from the absinthe fountain. Ceiling fans turn lazily over dark wood and hurricane lamps, and on warm nights the back garden becomes its own quiet universe. Come for the hour of oysters and end up staying for the Sazeracs.
Best for: Late-night dates and oyster hour with serious cocktails
