Renato’s
Renato Desiderio's courtyard institution tucked into Via Mizner since 1987, where Dover sole, porcini veal chops and foie gras with figs are served beneath bougainvillea and orchids.
Renato Desiderio opened Renato's in 1987 in the Via Mizner courtyard just off Worth Avenue, and it is now run by Al Fresco Hospitality Group. The kitchen describes its cooking as Continental cuisine with Italian flair, from pan seared foie gras and ravioli alla Caprese to Dover sole and a porcini truffle veal chop. Guests choose between a mirrored, red velvet dining room and a courtyard framed by bougainvillea. Private rooms include the Peruvian Room for 45, a 24 seat wine cellar table and the 12 seat Capri Room.
Best for: Anniversary dinners in the courtyard and long Worth Avenue lunches
