A Tuscan restaurant inside Villa Le Lepricine on the Serpiolle hillside, named for the villa's original olive press and known for a panoramic terrace that takes in all of Florence.

Lo Strettoio occupies part of Villa Le Lepricine on Via di Serpiolle, a former fortified house whose farmers once pressed oil here; the original press still stands in the dining room and gives the place its name. The rooms are rustic stone, and the old stable now serves as a private dining room. The draw is the terrace, which looks across Florence from Piazzale Michelangelo to Santa Croce and the Duomo. The menu stays Tuscan and seasonal: pici cacio e pepe with rigatino, potato tortelli with ragù, tagliata under fresh truffle and peposo. Dinner Tuesday to Sunday, weekend lunch.
