il Buco al Mare
The il Buco group's first Hamptons outpost brings its ingredient-driven, Mediterranean-leaning cooking to a bright, easygoing room in the heart of Amagansett.
Drawing inspiration from sister restaurant Bottega il Buco in Ibiza and a prior Montauk pop-up, il Buco al Mare centers its menu on ancient grain focaccias made with Sicilian flour, imported tinned fish from Spain and Italy, and seasonal seafood pulled from a wood-burning oven. The wine list leans into small, multi-generational producers from coastal wine regions, reinforcing the sea-touched, unfussy character of the space, while a garden and Main Street perch make it equally suited to a lively lunch or a candlelit dinner.
Best for: Coastal dinners and Main Street lunches
