Le Dive
A French tabac-inspired wine bar on the Canal-Ludlow corner, built around natural wine and bistro plates for the Dimes Square crowd.
Restaurateur Jon Neidich modeled Le Dive on the old tabac cafés of Paris, the kind of corner spot where a glass of red at midday feels normal, with beverage director Ashley Santoro (also behind the nearby natural wine shop Leisir) running the pours and executive chef Nicole Gajadhar handling a menu of tuna Niçoise, charcuterie, and other classic bistro fare. Floor-to-ceiling windows and sidewalk tables put you right at the corner of Canal and Ludlow, where the crowd spills from the bar onto the street well past midnight.
Best for: Late-night glasses of natural wine and people-watching in Dimes Square
