The London izakaya icon's first California outpost, a 270-seat room of timber, stone and robata smoke inside The Guild Hotel on Broadway.

Zuma San Diego opened in August 2026 inside The Guild Hotel at 500 West Broadway, the brand's first California restaurant and sixth in the U.S., more than two decades after the original opened in London. The roughly 12,000-square-foot space seats about 270 across a main dining room, bar, terrace and a sushi counter built around the first Zuma ice box. Head Chef Briant Arciniega runs the house signatures, spicy beef tenderloin, saikyo miso black cod and barley miso baby chicken, alongside sushi, sashimi and robata.
