A velvet-lined Art Deco lounge inside The Frederick Hotel, Primo's mixes martinis and house cocktails, then backs them with pizza, meatballs and pasta for a long Tribeca night.

Primo's has held a corner of The Frederick Hotel since 2018, reached through its own discreet door on Chambers Street. It opened under Aisa Shelley of Mr. Fong's, with interiors by Camilla Deterre that lean Art Deco: jewel-toned velvet, chrome stools, lacquered tables and a low, warm glow. The drinks list runs from house cocktails such as the Primo's Negroni and Sicilian Sour to martinis, aperitivo and Italian sodas for the sober. The kitchen keeps it short and Italian, with a margherita pizza, meatballs and spaghetti pomodoro served through the evening, and from Thursday to Saturday the bar stays open until 2 AM.
