Palma
A Grove sidewalk staple where handmade pasta and unhurried service make ordinary Tuesdays feel like vacation.
Palma trades on simplicity done exactly rightβal dente pasta, good olive oil, bread worth mopping the plate with. The patio fills early with a mix of Grove regulars and design-district transplants, all in for the cacio e pepe and a bottle of something Italian and unfussy. Reservations help, but the bar seats are their own reward if you don't mind a short wait.
Best for: Long lunches that drift into early evening wine
