CreDa Gastronomia Popolare
A Neapolitan neighborhood gastronomia on Via Orti, where two young chefs sell counter dishes to take away and cook grandmother recipes to order for lunch and dinner in the back room.
CreDa takes its name from its two chefs, Crescenzo Morlando and Dario Pisani, who met at Vòce di Aimo e Nadia before opening this Porta Romana gastronomia in March 2024. The front is a deli counter stacked with Neapolitan dishes to take away, while the dining room behind it serves plates cooked to order at lunch and dinner. Nonna Maria's meatballs in ragù are the signature, alongside pasta e patate with provola, eggplant parmigiana and baccalà maritato. Finish with pastiera or tiramisù. The room is simple and warm, with marble tables, and a few seats outside in good weather.
Best for: A casual Neapolitan lunch or dinner
